Hi all,

no summer break at VinotekaSoft, a new version of Vinoteka Touch is available on the AppStore, Vinoteka Touch 1.1.1, it’s time to go get it or discover Vinoteka Touch for the first time. Some bugs have been corrected and features have been implemented.

What’s next? The iPad version is coming, yes, we are making as enjoyable and powerful as possible, some more weeks to wait, but not too many :-) A new release of Vinoteka and Vinoteka Touch next month as well, with new features and more content (appellations, regions, subregions and classifications are being added at the moment for big countries sunch as Canada, Australia and smaller but nevertheless very nice countries such as Czech Republic). That’s about it but it’s keeping us quite busy here!

Don’t hesitate if you have questions or suggestions about what to add to Vinoteka and Vinoteka Touch, it’s always nice to hear from users.

pas de vacances d’été pour VinotekaSoft,une nouvelle version de Vinoteka Touch iest disponible sur l’AppStore, Vinoteka Touch 1.1.1, vous pouvez mettre l’appli à jour ou découvrir Vinoteka Touch pour la première fois. Des bugs ont été corrigés et des fonctionnalités ajoutées.

Et ensuite? La version iPad arrive très bientôt, nous la travaillons pour la rendre aussi agréale et performante que possible, plus que quelques semaines à attendre :-) Mais aussi une nouvelle version de Vinoteka et Vinoteka Touch le mois prochain, avec des nouvelles fonctionnalités et plus de contenu (appellations, régions, sous-régions et classifications pour des grands pays comme le Canada, l’Australie et des plus petits pays comme la République tchèque). Tout cela nous réserve encore pas m’al d’occupation!

N’hésitez pas si vous avez des questions ou des suggestions à propos de Vinoteka et/ou Vinoteka Touch, c’est toujours agréable de recevoir du retour des utilisateurs.

Vinoteka 2.1.2 and Vinoteka Touch 1.1 are available today! You can update both applications right now.

About Vinoteka Touch: Apple has displayed on the AppStore the application is also available in Russian, Dutch and Polish but this is a mistake. For the moment, Vinoteka Touch is only available in English, French, German, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese, those 3 languages will come later. The application works perfectly in those languages, we’re working on other ones but for the moment, only those 6 are available.

So if you have started using Vinoteka Touch in one of those 3 languages and see your data appear as numbers and codes, don’t worry, you haven’t lost you data, it’s just misinterpreted by the device which cannot proceed in this language. To use Vinoteka Touch properly, switch back to one of the available languages and you’ll get you data back properly. 

So don’t panic, no data gets lost, and be patient for the other languages. They’ll come, but the AppStore has been too early on announcing them. We’re submitting today a correction to the AppStore so that those 3 languages will disappear for the moment.

here we come again!

First news: WineWeek.com.au (http://wineweek.com.au), an Australian website created by Danny Bishop and Brad Paton specialized in speaking about best wine values available in Australia and other tips related to wine, have done a really great review of Vinoteka Touch and Vinoteka less than 2 weeks ago and it’s available as podcats on their website: http://wineweek.com.au/
Thanks a lot Danny and Brad for the really nice insight, we’ve been very glad you liked the iPhone/iPod Touch application as well as the desktop version!

Second news: Vinoteka Touch has been chosen by several iTunes and has been put forward by the following countries’ AppStores: Netherlands, Australia, Spain, Italy and maybe others, so go have a look, the app is on the main screen, no need to search it now! If you find it on another AppStore, twit it or tell us :-)

Right now, we’re working on several things for September and later:
- Vinoteka Touch iPad version: definitely on its way, we work as quick as possible to have it on the market soon;
- we’re working on a new blog, better looking, where you’ll be able to discuss about Vinoteka, stay tuned!
- we’re going to publish a new big version of Vinoteka and submit a new version of Vinoteka Touch later this week, 2 big updates with lots of new information, so stay tuned as well to learn when to get them.

After the summer, we’ll finish posting videos about Vinoteka works, we’ll add more racks and bottle shapes, improved existing pictures and new features as well.

Deuxième nouvelle: Vinoteka Touch a été choisi par les équipes iTunes et mis en avant dans les AppStores des pays suivants: Pays Bas, Australie, Espagne, Italie et surement d’autres, allez-y faire un tour, l’appli est présentée sur l’écran principal, plus besoin d’aller la chercher! Si vous la trouvez sur un autre AppStore, dites-le nous ou twittez le :-)

En ce moment, nous travaillons sur plusieurs choses qui seront disponibles soit bientôt, soit en septembre et plus:
- version iPad de Vinoteka Touch: en cours, on y travaille autant que possible pour qu’elle sorte bientôt;
- nous travaillons à une nouvelle interface de blog, plus agréable et qui permettra aux gens d’échanger, tenez vous au courant!
- nous allons publier une nouvelle version de Vinoteka et soumettre à Apple une nouvelle version de Vinoteka Touch à la fin de cette semaine, 2 importantes mises à jour avec beaucoup de nouvelles informations, suivez-nous pour savoir quand elles seront disponibles.

A la rentrée, nous finirons de poster les vidéos concernant Vinoteka, nous ajouterons aussi des nouveaux casiers et nouvelles formes de bouteilles, nous allons aussi améliorer des fonctionnalités existantes et en apporter des nouvelles.

Hi everyone,Vinoteka Touch 1.0.1 is now available on the AppStore in 4 new languages: German, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese, but these localizations appear to show a slight encoding problem. So we’re already working on this and we’ll submit a new update (which other new things and bug fixing in it of course :-) tomorrow, so that it’ll be complete and PERFECT! Don’t worry then, it’s no big deal and we’re taking care of it.All our updates are free, so if you have already paid for Vinoteka Touch and plan to buy it now, you’ll have free access to all our coming updates.Have a nice day and stay tuned,cheers, Elodie

Vinoteka Touch 1.0.1 is now available in several additional languages that were still missing:
- German,
- Italian,
- Spanish and
- Portuguese.

More languages will come later, we’re now working on……..the iPad version of the application! It’ll will actually be a universal application, so for iPhone/iPod Touch and iPad (optimized for the screen), available at the same price and offering the same features. Users will then be able to purchase Vinoteka Touch only once and install it on all their 3 devices (simultaneously).

Just few more days and it’ll be available!

D’autres langues viendront ensuite, nous travaillons actuellement sur……..la version iPad de l’application! Il s’agira d’une application universelle, pour le iPhone/iPod Touch et l’iPad (otpimisé pour son écran), disponible au même prix et offrant les mêmes fonctionnalités que Vinoteka Touch actuellement. Les utilisateurs vont donc pouvoir acheter Vinoteka Touch une foi seulement et l’installer sur leurs différents appareils (en même temps).

Encore quelques jours à patienter et ce sera bon!
